Basham's Martial Arts was established in 2001 by Kwan Jang Nim (Headmaster), Marty Basham. Master Basham is assisted by Sa Bam Nim (Master), James Basham, along with Black Belts: Michael Basham, Kristin Basham, Alex Jernigan and Becky English.
We offer the following discipline:
Taekwondo, meaning "the way of the hand and foot," is a general term used to describe Korea's national sport. We train in a traditional Korean form. We supplement these punches and kicks with self-defense techniques and overall endurance and flexibility training.
All of our black belts are certified through the Kukkiwon in Seoul, Korea, the Tae Kwon Do world headquarters. We are also a USA Tae Kwon Do member.
